  • Upcycled: A New Life for Discarded Materials
    Aug 24, 2012 - 12:00am to Oct 7, 2012 - 12:00am
    Coral Gables Museum
    285 Aragon Ave

Upcycled, now showing at the Coral Gables Museum, features a new life for discarded and wasted materials.  It features works by contemporary artists Carlos Anzola, Ryan Farrell, Regina Jestrow, Lucinda Linderman and CANLOVE, an artist collaborative comprised of Dennis John Neff and Paul Ramirez. Though the artworks vary in concept, style and medium, the act of upcycling is at play within all of the artists’ creative processes. The artists share an ability to re-invent, revive and add value to the man-made products that would otherwise accumulate in our ever-growing junkyards. We would like to thank the participating artists and Ninoska Huerta Gallery for their contributions to this dynamic show.

For more information & admission, call 305-603-8067 or visit www.coralgablesmuseum.org
