  • Lexi Jewelry and Emporium Boutique partner for a happy hour in Coral Gables to benefit Autistic children

    Lexi Segré, owner/designer of Lexi Jewelry in Coral Gables, and Sara Zamikoff, owner of the Emporium Boutique on Ponce de Leon Blvd., are joining forces on Friday, November 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Emporium for a happy hour to benefit the Crystal Academy for autistic children in Coral Gables.

    The Crystal Academy was established in 2009 as an early intervention center for young children on the Autism spectrum, treating boys and girls as young as 15 months of age. The center provides a variety of evidence based services crafted into programs individualized for each child that include: intensive Behavior therapy based on the VB-MAPP Speech and language therapy, Occupational therapy, sensory integration, play, life skills, and music for -on the Autism spectrum.  All of these services, as well as parent training are also offered individually as needed.

    Partial proceeds of this happy hour shopping event will be donated to the school. Event members of the community and friends who would like to stop in for a fun filled night with wine and cheese benefiting this great cause are welcome.
