Miracle Mile Roadway Reconstruction btw Salzedo Street and Ponce De Leon & Ponce De Leon and Galiano Street
The roadway reconstruction has begun. This will include the full closure of the eastbound lane (south side) of Miracle Mile from Le Jeune Road to Douglas Road. Roadway reconstruction and oak removals will be done at night (10pm to 7am) in order to minimize the impact to the vehicular traffic, as well as the impact to businesses. Eight double-side signs have been placed along Miracle Mile median advising all stakeholders that all businesses are open throughout the entire construction process and where parking garages are located. Additional pedestrian signs will be placed once the sidewalk demolition work begins.
Miracle Mile Electrical Work btw Salzedo Street and Ponce De Leon & Ponce De Leon and Galiano Street
The electrical subcontractor will begin the electrical conduit work while the road is closed. This will minimize the amount of work that the electrical subcontractor will need to complete when the sidewalk demolition begins.

All trees and shrubs have been removed on the south side. The oak tree removals will begin the week of July 11th.
