Advisory Bulletin: Giralda Water Main Work May 9-June 19, 2016
The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) will be improving the water service in the City of Coral Gables to provide better water pressure and enhance fire protection in the community. This project is part of the Department’s Capital Improvement Program to upgrade the County’s water and wastewater infrastructure.
A 12-inch water main and a few fire hydrants will be installed along Giralda Avenue, between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Galiano Street. We expect to be working in your neighborhood for a little over one month, from May 9, 2016 until June 19, 2016. The construction will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and if needed Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Access will be provided to all residents and every effort made to minimize any inconvenience will be taken. We thank you for your cooperation and patience as we conduct this system betterment project in the City of Coral Gables.
