Holiday Shopping Alert: Coral Gables Centralized Valet Parking Rates Reduced to $5

Coral Gables, FL –December 3, 2015 – Holiday shopping on Miracle Mile is now easier and more affordable with new reduced centralized valet parking rates.  For $5 the Centralized Valet Parking on Miracle Mile allows patrons to drop off their vehicles at one of five valet stations and pick them up at the station of their choice: between Hillstone and JohnMartin’s, in front of Tarpon Bend, between Benihana and Ortanique, between Morton’s and Ale House, and in front of Seasons 52 and Bellmont. Valet fees and tip can be paid either in cash to a valet parking attendant or with a credit card through the Curbstand mobile app on smartphones. Valet parking is free for disabled patrons with permits.

In November, the Coral Gables City Commission unanimously voted to approve a reduction in Centralized Valet parking rates from $8 to $5 to support the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables (BID)’s Downtown Coral Gables marketing efforts and the upcoming Streetscape improvements project where construction is expected to begin the first quarter of 2016.

“As we enter the height of the holiday shopping season and prepare for the Streetscape construction in a few months, our goal is to make the shopping experience in Downtown Gables pleasurable and minimize the disruption to merchants and their customers.” said Marina Foglia, Executive Director of the Business Improvement District of Coral Gables (BID).

Valet runners can now be easily identified, as they will have new uniforms that include red shirts. The shirts will have the BID’s Downtown Coral Gables and Miracle Mile logo on the front, the Valet logo on the sleeve and Centralized Valet on the back.
