Even though it started on June 8th, you still have time to participate in Coral Gables Restaurant Week. Why? Because the good nice people at Shop Coral Gables have made it not just a week, but until June 28th. If you’re having trouble deciding which of the participating restaurants to visit in the time you have left, so are we.

So, we thought we’d narrow it down a bit and take a closer look at some of the oldest and the newest restaurants that you can visit for just a fraction of what they normally cost – and still indulge in a delicious three course meal:

Caffe Abbracci is one of the oldest restaurants in Coral Gables. They’re so proud of they’re long history in Coral Gables that they dedicate a section of their website to celebrating the members of their staff who have been with them the longest. This is old school, fine dining at its very best; an unwaveringly delicious menu of light northern Italian food that has always been and will always be perfectly prepared.

La Dorada is a longtime favorite and they’re making long term contributions to the environment. A “Green Star Diamond Award” winner (from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences), La Dorada has a commitment to using fully organic, natural ingredients with no preserves of chemicals. Not to mention it’s delicious. This white tablecloth Spanish restaurant is serving their finest Spanish food for Restaurant Week. Entrees include Baby Lamb Chops, Grouper Fillet and Sea Bass.

Uvaggio, one of Coral Gables’ newest restaurants, and a tremendous addition to the foodie scene, is participating in Restaurant Week. This wine-centric spot has narrowed down the menu to Salt Cod Croquettes, Duck Confit, Octopus “Naranja Agria,” and two dessert options that sound so good, I won’t spoil the surprise for you. I recommend you go with a friend, ask for a wine pairing, and then try one of each of the desserts.

OBBA Sushi is the most recent addition to Coral Gables, so go ahead and check it out during Restaurant Week, when they’re offering a three course lunch for just $17.99 (Yellowtail Guacamole Tartare!) and a three course dinner for $27.99 (Popcorn Lobster Roll!).
