It’s an unseasonably warm Fashion Week in New York. It’s probably a bit of a sticky situation for the fashion girls who had carefully prepared their layered ensembles to usher in fall – but for us fashionable folk in Miami, it means we can still look to the photos for warm weather dressing inspiration.

Fashion Week is an unpredictable look at what’s to come in the next few months. We never know when a furry little Fendi clutch is going to be the street style star of the season or when Chanel is going to send glittery tattoos down the runway. Down here, there’s one predictable thing, the weather won’t cool down for at least another few months. We’ll have to get crafty with interpreting the fashion world’s fall trends.

ISA Boutique is the perfect place to come and stock up your closet with new pieces for the “fall.”

This sun-filled space on Giralda is full of the trends that you’ve already been seeing on the street style stars this Fashion Week. A standout is a white or black asymmetrical blouse with only one long sleeve. It’s reminiscent of the ultra-hip and uber expensive Rosie Assouline, but at a much more reasonable price point. Necklaces with crystals, mini skirts with embroidery and sequins and chunky turquoise jewels will catch your eye.

ISA Boutique is a lovely kind of neighborhood store. It’s the kind of place where Isa, the store’s namesake, greets you warmly when you walk in and gently guides you to her current favorites. This is a store with regulars who pop in once a week for a little something special for that weekend. They even offer hemming and alternation services for garments both purchased at the boutique and elsewhere.

Not surprisingly, they have a great bikini selection – you won’t be able to look to the New York Fashion Week street style for that, so rely on Isa’s expert eye instead.
