If the holiday season hasn’t left you feeling under the weather and you aren’t embarking in a New Year’s juice cleanse, go for a New Year Coral Gables Bar Hop!  Get together a few of your friends and follow these simple pointers. It’s easy as that-  you have yourself a Coral Gables bar crawl.

Instead of sticking to strictly pubs, we’ve mixed in a variety of places and price points to hop between.

John Martin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant
Start the night at the kind of place that puts the “pub” in “pub crawl.” John Martin’s is a classic Irish pub where you can kick off the evening with an Irish Potato Soup and an Irish Car Bomb (or two). A Coral Gables staple since 1989, John Martin’s is pretty much as authentic an Irish ambiance as you can find around these parts. Here’s a fun fact: most of the furniture and fixtures were actually imported from a church in Ireland.

The Bar
Move on to another Coral Gables bar staple, the aptly named The Bar. For a craft beer on tap and a plate of nachos, there’s nowhere better. The Bar is a real dive right on Giralda in Downtown Coral Gables where you can karaoke on Tuesday nights and dive into a cold one every night of the week.

Sushi Samba
SUSHISAMBA has locations all over the world and now there’s one right here in Coral Gables. Celebrate the cuisine and cocktails of Japan, Brazil and Peru in a unique upscale fusion. Most importantly, let’s talk about the bar: the SUSHISAMBA cocktails are reflective of the very unique and thoughtful menu. Cocktails run the gamut from takes on classic Brazilian cocktails to herby Asian inspired drinks with shiso leaf vodka infusions.
