Sushi Maki Celebrates 10 Years of Growth and Innovation

Sushi Maki, South Florida’s premier Japanese restaurant chain, enters its 10th year in business as one of its best years since launching the brand in 2000. Over the last 14 months, the chain experienced tremendous growth, going from four initial outposts (three full-service restaurants and one sushi station) to 12 current locations in Dade and Broward counties.  Also during this period, the company expanded its relationship with Whole Foods Market, entered the international airport and university markets, grew its catering business and introduced a new menu.

In 2010, the community dining favorite also looks to expand its fast-growing partnerships with powerhouses including Whole Foods Markets, Baptist Hospitals, AmericanAirlines Arena and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, among others.

In addition to its business growth, Sushi Maki recently introduced a new menu full of unique dining choices and Miami-infused flavors.  The new menu, which evidences Sushi Maki’s commitment to innovation, features more than 15 contemporary dishes, along with a selection of handcrafted sake cocktails that combine unexpected flavors, carefully selected wines, premium sakes, and rare Japanese beers.
