New Lighter Menu at Caffe Abbracci

Veteran restaurateur Nino Pernetti, owner of Caffe Abbracci,  has revamped the menu to include leaner dishes he calls modern traditional Italian, to fulfill the growing demand of the healthier palettes. Caffe Abbracci’s commitment to Italian haute cuisine and perfection is still a signature of the Coral Gables award-winning destination from greeting to dining, but the updated menu now showcases organic ingredients and lighter condiments and accompaniments.

A couple of highlights include the Shrimp with Italian Parsley in red wine sauce served on a bed of cabbage and fennels; The Grilled Langostinos marinated in fresh herbs, olive-oil and fresh lemon juice served with baked zucchini and Parmigiano Tortino; the Halibut with artichokes, red wine sauce and truffled-potato Marcarpone cheese puree; and for dessert, the Warm Mango “Tarte Tatin” with caramelized mango slices with flaky butter pastry and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
