Starbucks Celebrates the Flavors and Culture of Latin America with Unique Coffee Festival in Coral Gables

Starbucks Coffee Company invites South Florida to celebrate the culture, flavors and people of Latin America with the first Starbucks Latin American Coffee Festival.  To be celebrated on the streets of downtown Coral Gables, the festival will delight guests with an array of complimentary food and beverage tastings, coffee seminars, lively musical performances, dance lessons and interactive activities for the entire family.  The street festival also will introduce a new selection of beverages and food offerings, all inspired by the vibrant culture of Latin America.  Celebrity chef and TV personality, Aaron Sanchez, will host a cooking demonstration featuring the flavors of Latin America, while the students of Johnson & Wales University will take part in a cooking competition, with the winner being presented with a scholarship to the University.  Headlining the musical entertainment for the festival is Starbucks Hear Music™ debut artist and Latin Grammy-nominated singer CéU, who will bring her Brazilian infused music to the festival’s main stage.  The celebration also commemorates the 10th Anniversary of the first Starbucks store in Florida, located in Coral Gables.  Admission to this event is free of charge. Where: Downtown Coral Gables – Ponce de Leon Boulevard will be closed off from the corner of Miracle Mile (Coral Way) to Andalusia Avenue.
